Whether in a jet, while diving or on a sailboat, I bring my camera as close to the action as I can and try to convey something of the emotions involved to the viewer.
I enjoy conveying action with intensity, with its materials and its sounds, its light as an outline.
In 2002 I directed a film for yachtsman, Dominique Wavre and his sponsor UBP.
In this film I tried to capture the sounds, the feeling of ocean racing and the moods of the skipper. As in most of my films, I let the subject and the images do the talking without additional commentary.
The landscapes of nature at its wildest intermingle with the landscapes of the soul in the middle of the ocean.
